Accredited Swimming Pool & SPA Plant Operations Course
Nemco are now able to offer fully accredited courses in both Swimming Pool and SPA plant operations.
Courses have been designed to cover all of the latest recommendations from both PWTAG and The Carbon Trust.
Split into two distinct levels, the courses are recognised by the HSE, ISPAL, included on the National Accreditations Framework with full Ofqual Accreditation.
Level 1 - Foundation
Duration - 5 hours (classroom based)
Audience - requiring no previous knowledge, the course is designed for frontline staff, involved in the day to day testing of pool and SPA water.
Topics Incl. - pollution, filtration, disinfection, chemical dosing and safe practices
Level 2 - Certificate in Swimming Pool and Spa Water Treatment
Duration - 2 days (classroom based, must have completed Level 1)
Audience - those involved in the management and operation of swimming pools, spa baths and hydrotherapy pools. Allows the candidate to become fully qualified in all aspects of pool, spa and interactive play feature plant & operations.
Topics Incl. - risk assessment, electrical hazards, Legionella, HSG 179, Cryptosporidium & Giardia, overview of design & installation best practice
