Where the risk assessment shows that there is a reasonably foreseeable risk of exposure to Legionella, measures should be taken to prevent or minimise such risks. The system can be managed effectively through acting on the recommendations for remedial work and by preparing a scheme to monitor the water system on a regular basis. The scheme should be implementLegionella Control, Legionella Managemented and properly managed as documented in the HSC Approved Code of Practice L8.
