Responsible Person Training
Inadequate management, lack of training and poor communication are all contributory factors in outbreaks of Legionnaires’ disease. It is therefore important that the people involved in assessing risk and applying precautions are competent, trained and aware of their responsibilities.
Nemco Utilities offers a variety of different training programmes to inform you of your responsibilities in relation to Legionella management. To undertake the appropriate Legionella monitoring, testing and compliance reporting, a ‘responsible person’ must be appointed to oversee the legal requirements.
Responsible Person Training covers all the areas you need know, to ensure compliance with the current regulations and health and safety guidance. The purpose of the Responsible Person Training is firstly to raise awareness of Legionella Control issues, then to promote the understanding of risks and their control or prevention. Finally, it is an opportunity to inform delegates of their individual responsibilities.
